How to stop thinking with your brain and start loving with your heart

Mind is a tool which has to be used only to reach something as subtle as heart. The way of heart is always just one, its not to think but to act intuitively. Love being the most intuitive emotion has the place only in heart. Mind bifurcates. Good and bad. Small and big. Rich and poor. Heart just radiates what is inside it. Being non-directional. Like a light whose warmth can be felt whoever is around it. So brain is like your servant which has to serve you only to reach your heart and now let the heart take its course and decide what is right for you.

happiness you thought and happiness you realize

Happiness you thought is when you label yourself... happiness you realize you don't label yourself anymore...
Happiness you thought is go grab get it...Happiness you realize is already sleeping on the hammock inside...
Happiness you thought is the world... happiness you realize is home...
Happiness you thought when you are centered in many... happiness you realize is already centered and surrounded many...
Happiness you thought is really happy... Happiness you realize is really boring and yet it dances...
Happiness you thought when you realize.... happiness you realize when you know you've already realized...

Is it you?

Is it women? Is it a thing which you can touch and feel? Is it when you climb  that mountain and roar like a king? is it when you dive into that sea with your eyes open? Is it when you take a deep breathe? Is it when you leave that deep breathe? or Is it when you hold it and realize that you are here and now? Is it waking up? Is it sleeping? Is it when you see which you can't do? or is it when you do which you can't feel? Is it letting everything go? or holding on to just one thing? Is it just hanging in there? is it talking which no one understand? Is it knowing which you are talking? Is it the cigarettes you've smoked? Is it the wine you drink? Is it strength? Is it weakness? Is it knowing something which you always want to be? Is it being something you always want to be? Is it when you share with someone? Is it when you share with everyone? Is it when you are to yourself? Is it writing? Is it clicking? Is it scrolling down? Is it an illusion? Is it knowing why or Is it knowing how? Is it just doing everything you like or is it not? Is it knowing what you are doing? Is it letting know what you are doing? Is it being alert? Is it being a hippie? Is it questioning or is it answering? Is it running? Is it dancing? Is it asking everyone you meet? It is answering everyone you meet? Is it something which you should always have to be?Is it mother? Is it YOU?

From Walden

The following lines are from Walden by Henry David Thoreau. The paragraph which I read very often.
"Most of the luxuries, and many of the so called comforts of life, are not only not indispensable, but positive hindrances to the elevation of mankind. With respect to luxuries and comforts, the wisest have even lived a more simple and meager life than the poor. The ancient philosophers, Chinese, Hindoo, Persian, and Greek, were a class than which none has been poorer in outward riches, none so rich in inward. We know not much about them. It is remarkable that we know so much of them as we do. The same is true of the more modern reformers and benefactors of their race. None can be an impartial or wise observer of human life but from the vantage ground of what we should call voluntary poverty. Of a life of luxury the fruit is luxury, whether in agriculture, or commerce, or literature, or art. there are nowadays professors of philosophy but not philosophers.Yet it was admirable to profess because it was once admirable to live.To be a philosopher is not merely to have subtle thoughts, nor even to found a school, but so to love wisdom as to live according to its dictates, a life of simplicity, independence, magnanimity, and trust. It is to solve some of the problems of life, not only theoretically, but practically. The success of great scholars and thinkers is commonly a courtier-like success, not kingly, not manly. They shift to live merely by conformity, practically as their fathers did, and are in no sense the progenitors of a nobler race of men. But why do men degenerate ever? what makes families run out? What is the nature of the luxury which enervates and destroys nations? Are we sure that there is none of it in our own lives? The philosopher is in advance of his age even in the outward form of his life. He is not fed, Sheltered, clothed, warmed, like his contemporaries. How can a man be a philosopher and not maintain his vital heat by better methods than other men?"

Dheemi Dheemi

Last night as soon as I reach home I thought I will NOT turn the computer on but I felt like listening to this song 'Dheemi Dheemi' from Shiva 2006 which is one of my favorites and also Rahul's. So actually switched on the computer, listened to the song and slept bit early than my usual bed time.

I woke up in the middle of the night (which is around 2 am) to listen to the song again. So this time I was lazy to get a better music experience. I just Youtubed it over my phone with the keyword 'Dheemi Dheemi'. The top result I get is 'Dheemi Dheemi' from 1947:Earth. A beautiful song which reminds me of my childhood about how I discovered music.

It was Rahul whom I used to call 'Anna'. I just miss calling him 'Anna' now. It was through him I discovered music. I remember very well how he used to start his day with music every morning on a '2 cassette' and ' 3 CD music player ' - 1200 Watt (don’t know what does it mean but was always envious that my friend used to own a player with more watt) which we still own.

1200 Watt-PMPO :-P
Through him I discovered music like Roja, Bombay, Sakhi, Cheli, Jeans, Rhythm, Yuva and Swades. Whoever thinks I have better music sense then the credit goes to him and who think I don't then credit goes to me.

Rahul used to have a habit of buying genuine music. He used to buy cassettes way back. We were the guys who literally experienced the great migration of cassettes to Music CD's living together. Now experiencing CD's to Ipod/USB's living in different parts of the world.

So somehow in the middle of the night I started listening to this song 'Dheemi Dheemi' and started crying, reminiscing how my brother and I were connected through music and later movies. I still remember him taking me to 'Godzilla' which he already watched. He was so excited to show me the movie the very next day. I still remember us watching 'Jeans' walking back home, talking about the movie to find out our dad hospitalized due to Malaria

.

Those were days where we used to like movies by 'Shankar'. Those were days where we knew Spielberg and James Cameron as the only Hollywood directors. Those were days where we discovered new movies through just one person.

It’s funny and at the same time interesting how life can be connected through just one song. Though we are separated by an Ocean/Ocean’s we are united through music and film. Through something which is straight from the heart.

Change is permanent

The only permanent thing in this universe is change. But every one wants consistency everywhere. since we think consistency gives security. We want this security to have a better future. If nature is ever changing from the point of its inception and nature being the source of all evolution how come we go against the law of nature itself?

As Jake Sully said in the movie Avatar "sooner or later you always have to change". Though the statement per se is complete i want to change the statement to have a better understanding by saying "sooner or later you always have to change so that you evolve". Evolving is neither good nor bad, it is something which is GREAT.

PS: So change is permanent and permanent is change.

The absolute truth

Before knowing what is absolute truth its better to know something about what is truth?. I think truth is something which is always convincing and being in agreement which is real. One can't say whether the truth he/she know's is an absolute truth because truth can be known as truth only when it is backed up with a proof, where the proof for the truth is just to substantiate the truth which is in turn to convince us.

For example in Atomic theory, number of scientists came with different models which they believed to be true, which we believed to be true because they are backed up with necessary proofs/experiments. People moved from Rutherford's model to Bohr's model of atomic theory because it is just convincing. It is NOT just moving from one truth to another or from lower level of truth to higher. It is just believing which is convincing. The truth which is believed to be true today can be the lie of tomorrow and tomorrow's the lie of next day.

P.S The absolute truth is 'there is no absolute truth' and the absolute lie is when someone talking about absolute truth.
